Congratulations!
You are now a distance learner! You will no longer be meeting in a typical classroom or sitting idle as a teacher lectures to you. The traditional student role you are accustomed to is changing as you become familiar with the navigation of your course and how to submit your homework online. A successful online learner must contact their instructor as soon as a question arises via email, phone or text. This requires self-motivation and discipline!
It is wise to create scheduled time and place for each class. Some students work from home, at school or both. Some even learn while traveling, but planning ahead is key.
Not every student learns the same way and the more aware of what works for you the better. Some students need some type of background noise but it may be wise to limit it and the less clutter the better.
