This fall, NDCDE will continue to partner with Bismarck State College (BSC) to offer free dual-credit cybersecurity courses. In addition to CIS 147: Principles of Information Security, which we offered this summer, we are adding CIS 255: Computer and Network Security. Note that CIS 147 is a prerequisite for CIS 255.

With new state legislation requiring North Dakota schools to offer cybersecurity and computer science courses in grades K-12 taking effect on August 1, 2023, NDCDE has a menu of courses available to assist schools in meeting these requirements. Below is a list of these courses:
